2 sound cards in 1 pc?

hi

question as title really, is is possible to have 2 sound cards in 1 pc and have a different song outputting from both? providing the software is capable of course (Traktor DJ Studio 3)

I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, I heave heard that you can get the rear surround outputs on a card to act as a seperate stereo output.

Yes, it is perfectly possible

I used to do this for a couple of reasons but it worked fine as long as the software you are using can be told which card to output what on

ive been fiddling about and ive managed exactly that
