2 speakers for desktop PC.

I'd save up for Hi-Fi seperates, probably superior sound quality, and more inputs. Can upgrade and change over amp/speakers as you desire...in a PC system stuck with the unit as a whole.

Aye, thats definately true, however the Aego M, being made by a hi-fi specialist, is meant to have comparable sound quality to lower end hi-fi seperates, and is probably the best you can get that would count as 'mainstream pc sound'.
They're not going to be as good as £200-300+ setups that some of us are using, but then, those aren't exactly mainstream :)

NAD C320BEE amp
Q Acoustics 1010 speakers
"QED QUDOS Original" Speaker Cable
"QED QUNEX 1" InterConnect

£300 go on give your ears a treat :)

or the Aego M's i've got those on another pc and they're suprisigly good.
