2 sticks of RAM fail simultaneously!

Ive had my Team Xtreem in for 9 months and now both sticks appear to have failed at the same time. I was running stock volts through them. Is it unusual for both sticks to do this?

Another thing thats crossed my mind, this RAM is no longer stocked by OClockers (I paid £205 ! ). I wonder what their policy may be in replacing it.

i assume they wouldreplace with something of simalar spec not price, alas ram has gone down so much i bought mine about same time as you and now its 1/3 the price lol

as for both failing at same time that has to be rare, did you have them over clocked ? what makes you think they both failed ?

tried them both in every configuration possible. system would not POST until I put in 1Gb of cheap and nasty PC6400 DDR2.

Yip I've had two sticks of Ballistix fail within hours of each other.

Would be wary of the board, few times i had simultaneous RAM failure in mine or clients rigs it was mobo or psu related.

Therein lies the problem, its very hard to narrow it down, repeat performance usually seals it sadly.
