Hi, i had a gfx card go on me a gtx 260 so i returned it rma but as thay had to send it to the maufacturer (and would prob be a month or two) i decided to buy a replacment now i have had had a email saying it was replaced.
So do i stick with my 2 gtx's and sell the new unopened one or do i use it for 3 way Sli, would i get any or much benifit from the 3 way option?

4 gig ocz sli

ocz 850W psu

Thanks for any replies :)

Is 850W PSU enough for 3-way SLi?

TheMorningStar is right on both points - probably not so much gain between 2 and 3, but definitely boasting value. :)

i am unsure on the psu front and am checking with the ocz forum as yet no reply :)
but if there would be only a small benifit in performance will prob not bother fitting it as bragging rights dont float my boat :)

It would probably be best just to sell the third gtx, any performance increase would not be worth the price you could get for it.

You may see a very small difference at very high resolutions, could you run the 3rd as a dedicated physics card or would that not be worth it either?

Unless your running 2560x res its completely not worth it...

260GTX SLI will power through pretty much anything at any res below that with max settings and a decent amount of FSAA.
