Hi

I just installed a new ssd disk:

Kingston FURY Renegade PCIe M.2 NVME SSD 1TB
M.2 SSD, PCIe 4.0, 1TB, 7300/6000 MB/s

In my girlfriends asus L510K... But forgot to disconnect the battery from motherboard first... Now it wont start up not with the new ssd nor without...

Have i killed the laptop mb or battery?

Any help will save my ass from the evil monster she will become when she finds out.

Hmmm...I think you've sorted something. Was the power cable still connected when you were changing the SSD?
I've previously changed the SSD and WiFi card in my laptop with the battery still connected with no issues (Lenovo legion 5 pro), so a bit unsure what you did exactly

No powercable

take the SSD's out and see if it boots to bios.
when you changed the SSD did you have it plugged in? did you unplug the battery?

put it back to stock, and RMA
