2 weeks to receive a second class letter

Two weeks FFS!!!!!! I was expecting a cheque through from the council whilst i was away on holiday (the week of the 8th).

Get back no cheque, so I phone them up ask where it is. It had been sent, anyway ended up cancelling it because it was taking so long and had it re-sent to my work address.

Guess what turned up on my doorstep 2 weeks after it had been sent out, unfortunately I still don't have the resent one

Two weeks is ridiculous, I know 2nd class takes a bit longer, but to take that long from one end of town to the other cheque through

Complain, I'm sure you could probably get a few free stamps for that or something

Never had a problem with Royal Mail myself but 2 weeks is a joke.

Nahh already asked that, offered to go down there myself while they wrote it out.

Alas red tape is preventing me from doing so
