2 weeks to receive a second class letter

Two weeks FFS!!!!!! I was expecting a cheque through from the council whilst i was away on holiday (the week of the 8th).

Get back no cheque, so I phone them up ask where it is. It had been sent, anyway ended up cancelling it because it was taking so long and had it re-sent to my work address.

Guess what turned up on my doorstep 2 weeks after it had been sent out, unfortunately I still don't have the resent one :(

Two weeks is ridiculous, I know 2nd class takes a bit longer, but to take that long from one end of town to the other cheque through :mad:

Could you not arrange to go collect it in person? Royal mail, is crap

Complain, I'm sure you could probably get a few free stamps for that or something

Nahh already asked that, offered to go down there myself while they wrote it out.

Alas red tape is preventing me from doing so
