hey guys,

I currently have a wireless keyboard that runs on 2.4GHz and I'm thinking of getting a AV signal sender so I can watch my HTPC on my TV in my room but all the ones I can find run on the same frequency.

What would happen if I had two devices running at the same time on the same frequency??

The AV sender has 4 channel options and the keyboard has none. Would changing the channel of the AV sender make any difference.

I could buy a AV sender that using 5.4GHz but they are expensive and I'm trying to do this on a very tight budget.

Help, anyone??

Cheers in advance.

They both proberly won't be running on the exact same frequency even if they are both 2.4GHz

I.E here are all the standard frequencys found on 2.4Ghz wifi

Channel - Low - Center - Upper
1 2.401 2.412 2.423
2 2.404 2.417 2.428
3 2.411 2.422 2.433
4 2.416 2.427 2.438
5 2.421 2.432 2.443
6 2.426 2.437 2.448
7 2.431 2.442 2.453
8 2.436 2.447 2.458
9 2.441 2.452 2.463
10 2.446 2.457 2.468
11 2.451 2.462 2.473

Chances are they won't interfere.

cheers for the reply.

So you reakon I'd be ok with running them both.

Nice. I'll see if the place I'm thinking of getting it from will allow me to return it if it doesn't work.

Cheers again!
