2 x 2Gb DDR400...

Hi all,

I currently have 4 x 1Gb Corsair XMS DDR3200's in my rig. Ive got a A8N SLi Premium with a X2 4200 @2.5Ghz.

Now I know that having 4 sticks in the board is limiting my overclocking. Is it possible to still get hold of a 2 x 2Gb DDR400 sets. I would upgrade my rig but money is a bit short at the mo.

I haven't seen any 2x2gb DDR1 kits.

Tho they would probably have relatively high latencies (if 2x2gb DDR2 kits are anything to go by) and they would probably leave you in a worst position that you are currently in.

they would be VERY high priced. if you can find any that is (i have seen none)
