Hey people.
I recently got a hold of a matching XFX HD 5850 XXX edit. Even to the match wont do any diff. But when i got both cards running and check them i CPUZ it does show that i got two.. And it does detect Crossfire enabled in benchmark and it also works in games.. BUT..
This is the first ATi cards i've ever used, so i'm kind of new to all of this crossfire thing. My issue is that both cards got one hdmi plug in them. But when i hook my pc screens hdmi cable in the top card and the TV's hdmi into the lower card i only get a display on the pc screen. I've even tryed to shut down pc and plug in the pc screen to card 2.. But then it wont turn on the display. Is this a commen thing in crossfire?? that only one card can display the screen?

btw. when i plug in a HDMI and a HDMI-DVI plug i can use both screens on card 1..

Thanks for the input guys.. Just hoped there was a way to use both HDMI ports. But i'll just have to settle with the DVI instead..

Is this an issue? DVI has the same image quality as HDMI since the video signal is the same. The only thing you lose with DVI is the audio, but if you use the ATI DVI to HDMI adapter you should get this too.

Only the TV would need audio, so DVI to monitor and HDMI to telly. If he uses monitor speakers then it's pretty failsome.
