Currently running a single HD4850 on Asus P5Q Deulxe.

First Question is :

Will i see a difference adding a second HD4850 to my current rig?Gamewise.

Is there much differnce from running two cards at x16/x16 and x8/x8?

Is a 670PSU enough to power two of these cards? Its a hiper PSU.

I play @ 1920 x 1200 on every game which is smooth but i dont add any AA,so will having 2 cards Boost my performance noticabley?

If it's already smooth, what to you expect to be better? Smooth can't be made smooth, its already smooth :p

The second card will let you enable AA though. And yes your mobo will hold you back a little unfortunately.

The difference between running a p45 chipset at 8x8 over an x38 mobo 16x16 is nominal and you will not notice in real terms.

I would argue if one was to look at a game running xfire on p45 against a x38 mobo the user would not tell the difference.

You will see a few points lost in benchmarks but nothing to worry about in real world gaming.

1920 x 1200 resolution will see nice gains with 2x 4850's in xfire especially when you pile on the AA and AF.

you need plus 2 cards into PCIE x16 and enable as CF that would work fine

it worked for me when I enabled 2 cards into SLi mode (2xGF9600GT XXX) and look good in 1920x1080p @ 60mhz via HDMI cable it so cool

Unless its gaming at higher res the p45 sees little loss in perfromance

If That's the article I think it is ...they are Muppets :D don't read it untill after You have Your crossfire up and running !

I run 2 x HD 4850's on the Asus P5q delux, As Easy said You WILL NOT be bandwith limited PCIex 2 is double the bandwith of 1.1 so 2 x8 = 2 x16 old money.
One of our Forum Members reviewed this board with 2 3870X2's in crossfire against a X38 Board and found no difference
