i've looked on quite allot of websites and the performance hit on the games they tested was not an awful lot, but overall has anyone got and figures how much faster 2x16 slots are as apposed to 2x8 slots, its just i recently replaced my mobo with a gigabyte 790x but when i got it, it says in the manual when you put 2 cards in the slots default to 2x8 slots but the next model up supports 2x16 slots shall i save my money or buy the model up.
