Not sure if anyone can help (or if this is in the right place!). A mate of mine has 2 360s on his home network (his and his flatmate's), if they try and play online at the same time, they are usually fine for 3-5 mins then they are disconncted from Xbox Live.

I've tried port forwarding, putting one in the DMZ, checking NAT - nothing makes any difference.

Does anyone have any suggestions apart from needing two external IP addresses?

Thanks

Iain

I've not tried MAC filtering, the routers tried have been a Linksys BEFW11S4, WRT54G and a Belkin G+MIMO. All updated firmware, none worked.

Had this exact problem couple of days ago when housemate got a 360, found that it was because neither of us had named our consoles, in the network settings sections.

It now works fine.

Thanks - I shall give that a try and report back

Well my mate has got a temp solution - he's got a splitter (provided incase he used IPTV) and a second modem. This seems to have sorted the problem for now

I'll try the manual and auto IP as well
