2 year build falling apart

After graphic corruptions I have tested the ram using mem test 3 in bios ,,corruptions are now showing in bios so I can safely say the card needs replacing .

The memory sticks seem to be testing ok but only when using 2 gb at a time when I insert 4 gb it crashes in memory test :confused:

Have swapped the sticks over just hope its not my motherboard failing too .

I'm hopping that the graphics card is just causing the memory issue .

It might be the Power Supply. What is it? Ones from disreputable manufactureres, while cheap, are unreliable, short lasting and more likely to blow up than give out power.

Its a corsair 620W.

The abit might be going, it's an amazing board but they're old now. I also hope its the memory on the graphics card failing and not the motherboard. Is it using the stock cooler, and if so is it full of dust?

Cab you test the ram in another pc, my Abit did this, when I bought a new board memory worked fine and passed mem test.

I agree with the GPU being faulty, especially if your getting corruption in the BIOS.

Its not stock (in sig) was a bit dusty when I took the fan off ,cleaned now .

I guess I will just have to order a new card and see what happens .

hmm if your getting graphic corruptions it could be the graphics card overheating thats what mine did when it became to hot.

Yeah, you might want to replace the cooler on it so it doesn't happen again.
