20,000 steps a day

Depends on a number of factors including how much additional weight you are carrying but likely somewhere in the range of 600-700kcal.
 
According to the Pacer app its about 800. Just googled it and it suggests about 1000.

Suppose it also depends on how fast you're walking and over how many hours that 20,000 is spread out. I assume you'd burn more if that was done in 4 5k stints as oppose to 10 2k stints etc

2 stints, walking along forest track and back, terrain is easy. I'd say 90 mins walking each way. A few people who walk it say it's about 10,500 steps each way give or take.
