I used to have one of these before I got my sound card, It is very robust and quite small really.

The headband is a lot thinner than it looks on the pictures and the cups are a lot smaller than most normal sets.
 
I have the wireless one of these.

Absolutly amazing headset, the 7.1 surround sound is awesome for battlefield and keeps your ears nice and warm.

You can get custom software to make the G keys useable for TS/vent/mumble but I havent had the time to try it :(
 
Tempted to get one of these as a Christmas present for myself, shall have to see how far my Christmas funds stretch though :p

obviously not in the same league as a high end headset and sound card combo but that costs significantly more.

the wireless version is like hens teeth. there is no stock anywhere, and I am exceptionally lucky to have found these.

@Bobpegasus
the Gkeys can be modified loads, depends what you want to use it for really but even the stock software is highly customisable.
