Will be playing the odd racing game and CS:S, playing DVD's and possibly some kind of D-TV adapter to watch TV in the study.

Actually.... What's everyone's opinion of LCD's that have DTV tuners built in?

Don't bother they usually have a max res of 1366x768, get a dedicated PC monitor.
