Hi all,

I'm mainly a gamer and am looking for a new monitor. I ideally want a 24 inch monitor to last me for the next 3-5 years or so. Is it worth going for a 120hz one, or is the better colour reproduction of IPS more useful? I haven't yet seen a monitor that is both good for IPS and 120hz and is priced under £250 ish. Do they exist?

G-sync is also making life more tricky. I have an AMD card at the moment, but do you think AMD is going to come out with something similar? Is it worth holding off?

Many thanks for your help.

ive recently gone to 144hz with the XL2411T coming from a 60hz i would never go back for gaming, the gsync module will be expensive probably taking most the screens out your budget.

2-250 for a 24 incher its gotta be the aoc but id be tempted to try out the new iiyama for some 27inch action (biggers better right?) although ive not seen any reviews for that yet.

Compared to ips yes the colours can seem a bit washed out but spend a little time tweaking the settings like I have on the benq and in game at 144hz v synced colours will be the last thing on your mind its just so smooth

How's 1080p 120/144hz vs 1440p 60hz?
I am looking at screen upgrade as well because my 23.6" Samsung starts to get old.
Something between 250 and 400£ - I was looking at 27" 1440p Hazro, I never had their screens so appreciate comments.
