Am looking for some "cheap" options to upgrade an aging XP3200+/512mb system for my step-dad.
He has purchased Windows 7 and Office 2010 so that he can learn how to use them, however did not realise (until I told him yesterday) that his old system would likely struggle with it (it's getting a little sluggish as it is, with XP on it)
So - he's got around £200-250 for an upgrade, however, I'm a bit out of touch with what's currently a good "budget" system for this price.
Will be wanting:
Motherboard
CPU
RAM
Hard Disk
Graphics (if not on-board)
He has case, PSU, DVD drive, monitor (17" VGA), kb/mouse etc.
He won't be gaming on it, just office/mail/internet really.
