Hi,

A friends mum is after a laptop, nothing special, all she really does is browse, book holidays etc on it. Will rarely get used hence the price. Think a tablet is not really suitable due to her just wanting to plug a cheap printer in now and then.

Needs to have a decent size screen so rules out a netbook etc As for OS, personally i'd prefer windows 7 purely as i havent used 8 since the dev copy. But i guess you can always go back to a normal desktop view on it. a dvdrw not essential but would be ideal.

Was looking at something like Asus X55C Laptop

Any suggestions?

I was looking at
HP ENVY Sleekbook 6-1126sa 15.6" Laptop
HP Pavilion b005sa 14" Ultrabook
ACER Aspire E1-571 15.6" Laptop i3

Thanks for the reply.

I did look at a the acer. Slightly over budget which i am trying my best to keep to. the Asus can be had for £299 from another well known etailer at the moment.

Best i've found is £312, will put that to them and see what they say ;) if you know of it cheaper give me a big hint heh

Unfortunately is cleared, they dont sell anymore, thevstorevi was talking was one that got a company for fridges, washing machines and all of that, and the computer section they got another company, the website layout is the same and is very knowed , got stores evywhere.
Unfortunaty is too late you could get and i5 on the same computer but it is£400
