Hi all

I have an arctic cooled 9800se in a reasonably quiet pc and have decided its about time i upgraded. The rest of my computer is made up of a 2800 barton @2200mhz on 1gb of ballistix and a 400w zalman power supply all using a asus A7V600 mobo.
I dont want to go down the new mobo path to upgrade to PCI-e yet as this would require a reinstall, new processor and new quiet cooling for it.
At the moment I am undecided between these two graphics cards:

Gainward BLISS GeForce 6800 GS Goes Like Hell Edition 512MB GDDR3

and the

PowerColor ATI Radeon X850 XT 256MB DDR3.

I am leaning towards the Geforce as it has more memory. Bearing in mind i will also have to splash out on an arctic cooler does anyone else have any advice? Other cards maybe if these would be too good for my computers spec?
Would like to order today so any comments welcome. Thanks

edit: please dont flame me as i just read SJP's thread.

How about a geforce FX5200?

Or even better, why not just look at some of the other countless threads asking the same question and decide for yourself?

Im sorry but this same thread comes up about twice a day now, dont be lazy, do some research, you only have to click on a few buttons.

To be fair there are countless upon countless of threads asking the same old questions. With reviewers like Tomshardware, X-Bitlabs, Firingsquad, Anandtech pumping out recomendations for each and every price range it is very easy to get hold of what you need.

Either that or search the forums. There is loads of info on this same question.
