I am after a half decent PC for my gf.

Budget is £200 max, but i have some ddr800 ram so that may help a bit.

Preferences are a small case, decent size HDD and wifi if it's cheap enough.

Whats worth getting at this price point?

It's only a base unit i am after and i meant ddr2 and have a psu. :)

This is what i have so far -

Palit GeForce GT 240 512MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card - £59.98

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 "LGA775 Core 2" 2.60GHz - Retail - £52.99

Asus P5QPL-AM Intel G41 (Socket 775) Motherboard - £39.99

Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM - £38.99

Belkin F5D7000UK 54Mbps Wireless Desktop PCI Network Adapter - £17.99

Akasa Genesis AK-5004 Midi Tower Case - £16.99

Sub Total : £226.92 inc VAT

Obviously shopping around i can get it down £20, any ideas on how to get more bang for my buck?
I am tempted with a second hand 8800gt/gtx for similar money, or a 6800 ultra and save £40.

If you're trying to go budget, forget the grapihcs card and use the onboard Motherboard graphics, but don't forget you need a PSU with that list!

Got a PSU and Ram, good point about the graphics, still dicing with it as onboard is pretty gash.

A couple of cheaper alternative components,

Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L Intel G41 £37
Intel Celeron Dual Core E3200 £33

Good shout, i trust Asus and i think £3 is worth it, even if they are the same spec boards in every way.

How do the celerons rate against the entry level duels nowadays?
