Hi,

I'm thinking of upgrading my card to a 6870 but I'm worried my PSU wont be able to handle it.

This is the card I'm thinking of http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-021-HS

Also would it be worth waiting a few days and getting the XFX black edition? Is it just a pre overclocked card or are there added features?

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-190-XF&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1866

My system is:
CPU:Q6600 @3.2
Mobo:P5Q-E
RAM:4GB
PSU: Crosair 520W

Thanks for any help!

It will be fine. The rig in my siggy only pulls a max of 334w at the wall and even then only by running Linx (similar to Intel burn test) and Furmark stability test at the same time.

The black edition just has a bit of overclock otherwise it's the same.

I'm running my 6870 Black Edition on an OCZ 500w

And yes, it is pre overclocked to 940/1150 from 900/1050, which means you don't screw up the idle clocks and keep your idle temp high by overclocking manually. Which you can do, and I managed 1050/1250!!!!!
