Well getting an R290 would be the holy grail but £300 is really my maximum and I can't justify any more than that.

As optimistic as I am, I can't see them being that cheap.

I think they could be tbh, with 780's costing as low as £350 after game sales, I don't think the 290 can come in at that price point and outsell nvidia.

I'm thinking around £320, the never settle bundle is coming back soon too.

Either of these, sell the games and you'll be looking at around £190 you've paid for the card.

Don't know, but the 7970's come with games, the R9 280X is basically the same card.

ah well, it's ordered now! just hope it fits in my cm 690 case, should do though as i think it's only 26cm long-probably should have checked that before ordering
