What's a good monitor for under £200 that is good for gaming (low response) but is also good for using for work and watching videos?

The Dell U2414H caught my eye as they have got a bunch in at the place I'm currently working and they look sexy as hell with the tiny bezel. But what else is there for under £200?

The U2414H is what I'm using both at home & at work, love it.

Were I to choose again I'd still pick it - though maybe a decent VA panel could tempt me away as I like contrast ratio too.

Response speed is fine and input lag excellent on the U2414H so no point going to a 60Hz TN panel, though if you like higher frequencies then maybe TN could bring something to the table.

Is there anything with a TN panel that matches the Dell for under £200? The cheapest I've found the Dell is £175 which seems like a bargain!

I had a look for sub-£200 VA panels but didn't find anything appealing and the Dell would be my pick of the IPS ones, I'm a little surprised nobody came along with one of the 120-144 Hz TN panel options but I guess for non-gaming the cheaper high refresh TNs probably suffer a bit with poorer colours etc.

So in first & last place, looks like the Dell!

Viewsonic VG2401mh. 144hz, no PWM flicker, low blue light, 8bit TN (like the ROG Swift), no backlight bleed at all on my panel, uniform brightness. By far the best TN panel I've either seen or owned.

Can be had for exactly £200. If you game and you're on this budget, I wouldn't look at anything else.
