Planning my 4790K chassis and trying to put everything together.

I need some help choosing a gaming case. Looking for a full tower that can easily house my R9 290 Tri-X OC (or perhaps 2).

Not planning on water-cooling at the moment.

Is it as simple as the NZXT Phantom 820 or Phanteks Enthoo Primo or should I be looking elsewhere? If its between these two, which one should I go for?

If your water cooling Enthoo Primo is the case to get. If not then the Corsair 760T your case.

The primo was built for water cooling and since your not water cooling imho their would be a lot of wasted space.

Just watched some reviews on the 760T and I'm afraid I don't see the attraction. Yes it looks nice but the design of two soft windows either side makes it look flimsy.

Surely wasted space = better air flow :)

I think you've had your mind set on the primo no matter what others say. Just get the primo because that's what you really want :)

Not entirely. I'm just not convinced that the 760T is a better case in any way compared to the Primo regardless of me using air cooling.

The general question was between the nzxt and the primo and it seems that has been cleared up.

The next question was is there anything other than the primo I should consider. I have considered the 760T vs the Primo and I still think the Primo wins. So is there anything else I should consider?

Despite being primarily designed with watercooling in mind, the primo is a pretty good case for air cooling as well. Great build quality and attention to detail/features.
