Some advice please. First what I don't want. I DO NOT game so have no need of any of the features that Gamers need in a monitor.
What I do want is say a 27" screen with low flicker and (hopefully) reduced eyestrain* that gives accurate colour rendering.
Other than photo editing, it will be used for 'normal' browsing and home video editing/mastering.

Oh, and if I have to pay a bit more to get something decent, so be it. I have looked at the Benq and Iiyama ranges, but the choices seem neverending
