£200 monitor recommendation please.

Hi, I have around £200 for a new monitor but don't really know whats out there or what to look out for. Could you guys help and recommend me a few monitors that should suit my uses.
I play a fair amount of FPS games so am assuming 120hz is a must? Also I would like at least 24" if I can. Current monitor is 1650x1050 res will I better this for the price as well.

Specs of the pc are Ivy [email protected], 16gb ram, 3gb HIS 7950.

Been having a bit of a look around and 120hz seems to be out of the question anyway.

Anyone got any views on this its right at the top of my budget.

Thanks for the link stulid. Its now opened my eyes to the fact the monitor stretches 16.9 game screens into 16.10, I'm not sure on that. Have some reading to do now.

It was just a search of threads in the monitor section containing Dell U2412M

Bit of an odd ball but ordered one of these now. Havent seen any reviews on it but generally samsung screens get rated ok and I'm sure it will be better than my 6 year old NEC screen.

Right cancelled my order after getting cold feet on the Samsung and have managed to increase my budget some what. I have created a new thread on the two monitors I am thinking about now as there isnt much info on them. Any help in that thread would be greatly appreciated.
