It's about time I upgraded my motherboard/cpu combo. Basically I want to keep my IDE hard drives, my 2GB PC3200 RAM and my 6800GT.

So considering I currently have an NF7 with my 2500XP+ what is going to offer me the best value for money.

Ps Is it me or is it quite hard to find motherboards without Sata these days?

Pps I'd rather go the AMD route

I would say the Asrock Dual Sata mobo and the this week only 3700+ San Diego would be good for you, as it has AGP and PCIe so you can keep your memory and card for now but also gives you a decent upgrade path to PCIe

Either the ASRock Dual SATA and the 3700+

or for this week only, the ASRock and the 4000+ (both come to £201 inc)

edit:

Asrock 939Dual-SATA2 (Socket 939 & Upgradable to AM2) AGP & PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-002-AK)

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 90nm (Socket 939) - Retail (ADA4000BNBOX) (CP-120-AM)

Subtotal £171.90
VAT £30.09
Total £201.99

Sooo, does that have IDE compatibility, I don't want to change my hard drives?

 you mean with IDE? All mobos still come with them, along with SATA ports. Only the new Socket AM2 mobos have reduced the 2 IDE ports to just 1

EDIT: See...
