Sorry for bad quality they were done on phone

Huzzah, enjoy your new screen. :)
Thanks :)
If you hadn't already ordered it I would have recommended that one too. It's quite a good deal for £100

I ordered one the same time you did, but mine isn't here yet.
:(, where abouts are you located?...It is a great screen from what i have used so far. Got it in ECO mode atm as the brightness was crazy! :p + ECO mode saves 30% power according to the book.

Guys, got some more money through and after buying 4gb of ram my system is looking like this:
Phenom II 720
4gb Ram
500gb+640gb hdd
8800gts

Now i am not too bothered about graphics so it seems that my next option is ssd?
What is the best ssd for around 100?
I am so far looking at the: 60GB Corsair Force F60, 60GB OCZ Vertex 2E, Mushkin Callisto deluxe 60GB and 64GB Crucial RealSSD C300.

The Crucial has the ability to utillise the bandwidth of SATA 3 and gets good reviews from sites and users.

Unfortunately I have not read up much on the Mushkin.

Thanks Stulid,
My motherboard has 5 x SATA 3.0Gb/s ports. That will be fine yeh?
Would i be better off waiting until next year before i get one? or is it a few years until the next technology in ssd?
Also wouldn't i be better off with something like the Corsair or OCZ which is sandforce? or does it not make any difference?

Thanks RJC.
EDIT: Just looked and it seems the OCZ is a good ssd. I can get this one for £95.
This worth it or should i be looking at getting the c300 instead? also with regards to TRIM do i have to do anything or just plug in ssd and reinstall win 7 and it will do for me?

So OCZ or Corsair or Crucial guys?
Reviews are good for both, the only real difference seems to be that OCZ has sandforce controller. The OCZ is also cheaper.

Thanks RJC.
Can you explain TRIM to me mate? I understand how it basically makes you SSD fresh but how do i set it up? My motherboard is quite old so it might not have it?
Also i have just had a look into Sandforce and this seems to be the latest tech but is there anything new coming out within the next few months?
RJC can you also tell me how much of the 60gb space you actually get when formatted?

For TRIM explanation in be easier to read the info in the links below, but TRIM as far as I am aware is down to the Operating system rather than the motherboard, but it is recommended to enable ACHI in the BIOS.

Intel are due to launch there updated range of SSD but I am not 100% sure when this is, other manufacturers again not sure :(

I can't remember the exact capacity, but with windows and some program's I have 30gb spare ~

Laptop has 87.4gb free of 111GB (120GB SSD) thid has operating system and a few programs on.

Thanks RJC,
argh...i want a SSD but its not necessary so i may wait until Jan/Feb and if there is no new ones or the new ones are really expensive i will get the OCZ.
Thanks mate i think a 60gb will be enough as Win 7 is only around 20gb max+a few gb for Photoshop,Office and Indesign and a few games ;)

It should be enough, I tend to put my games on the 1tb Hard drive I have, which I also use for non important programs.

I still have some software to install which I not gotten round to!!!

But the speed is impressive :)
