Currently thinking of getting a 7850, open to all suggestions though.

Current spec : i3 2100, Gigabyte Z68AP-D3, GTX 550Ti, 4GB RAM, 320GB hard drive.

Other option would be a B-Grade 560Ti and putting the rest towards an SSD.

The budget can go over £200 by about £20, if needs be.

Edit: Gaming at 1080p, no plans for multi-monitor.

Well that was easy :D

Is the Gigabyte Windforce the best out the lot or is it worth considering the Sapphire, HIS IceQ or even the MSI?

Personally I'd wait a bit longer until the 660ti is released. Might be in your budget and if not it should at least have the 580 dropping very close to 200 and the 570 probably around 175.

Is there a solid release date for the 660ti? I'm not in any rush per say, but I don't want to be waiting months for a new gpu.

Gibbo has already said the 660ti will be around £250 at launch, probably more for a third party cooler version. By then you're very close to a reference 670.

Games : Skyrim, WoW, League of Legends and Team Fortress 2 are the "staple" of my gaming. I'd be looking to play Borderlands 2, The Witcher 2 and a few others. It's hard to say really but basically anything except BF3, or it's upcoming sequel.

Overclocking : Ideally I'd want to overclock to the max it'll go without needing too much juice.

Well if you don't mind overclocking (and don't play bf3) then the 7850 would be a great choice but you really do need to overclock it to reach its max potential. At stock speeds its a bit faster than the 560 ti but a bit slower than the 570.

I'd still wait for the 660ti to be released as it could drop prices a bit. It's going to 7950 speed while having very low power consumption (1 6 pin). If the 7950 drops in price, the 7870 and 7850 are likely to as well.

edit - crap, i got a yellow card :D
