Hi, I posted a while back about building a low power pc to save myself a bit of money. As luck would have it I got a new job that pays really well, and I have decided to build myself a half decent gaming system for around £2000. Below I have included a list for my build, I have not had a system built for several years so if you think I can get better for my money please let me know thx.

Asus GeForce GTX 680 DirectCU II 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card. £429.95

Asus X79 Sabertooth Intel X79 (Socket 2011) DDR3 Motherboard £262.99.

Intel Core i7-3820 3.60GHz (Sandybridge-E) Socket LGA2011 Processor - Retail £215.

OCZ RevoDrive3 120GB PCI-E SSD - (RVD3-FHPX4-120G)

Avexir Core Series 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C10 2400MHz Quad Channel Kit (AVD3U24001004G-4CI) - Blue Light £149.99

Antec 1200 Twelve Hundred (V3 with USB3.0) Ultimate Gaming Case - Black £119.99

Seagate Barracuda 3TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST3000DM001) x2 £239.98

Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750W V2 High Performance '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CMPSU-750TXV2UK) £94.99

LG BH10LS38 10x BluRay-RW / 16 x DVD±RW Lightscribe Drive - Black (OEM) £74.99

Suppose it would be helpful to ask,

• Do you have an OS? which one?
• What resolution do you game at?
• Is it just a base unit you are after?

Thx stulid, and remote zero, the case does look very nice. I take it spending the extra money on Components won 't improve performance much?. Is there a big improvement in the 120h monitors?.

Thx stulid, i'am using win 7 pro at the moment.

I game at what ever my 8800 graphics card will let me. My current 22inch monitor does 1920x1080 but I see there are monitors with a higher res now. Kind of like the look of this one but not sure if it is 120hz or not.

Samsung S27A850D 27" Widescreen Ultra Thin LED Professional PLS Monitor - Matte Black

Was just the base unit and a few peripherals to begin with but a new sound system and monitor may be a good idea.

Well I'm going to hope someone will come up with something fantastic for you for a more reasonable price than £2k, I'm tired.
