Hiya so I'm building a new PC and I have around £2000 give or take and this is the list of components I've put together, based on reviews and general information, the PC will only really be used for Gaming, but I wanted a top of the range to last a few years, I was considering swapping the i7 to an i5 but wasn't sure what one to go for, to save on cash as I won't video editting or streaming, it'll be strictly for gaming.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £2,113.49
(includes shipping: £14.70)

Anything I should change? I'd prefer to save some cash if some parts are overkill on gaming. I wanted an IPS panel really but £500 was the limit on the monitor, I wanted Gsync @ 1440p 144hz.

Increase RAM to 16GB and also increase the speed to 3000MHz or 3200MHz, apart from that it's looking good.

Some thoughts:

8GB ram might be just about enough right now, but 16GB ram would be a MUCH better choice moving forwards. Doesn't make sense to spend so much and skimp here.

A GTX 1070 might be better value for 1440p gaming, even at 144 Hz, and would shave a few hundred off the budget.

I have the same wireless adapter and it's very poor, doesn't get anywhere near the claimed speed. I dumped it for a small Netgear USB wireless adapter costing half the price which performs far better.

maybe an onboard m.2 ssd drive. samsung 120/250. would make it nice and tidy and offer slightly better performance.
