2002 R6 - any problems?

What should a buyer look for when viewing a 2002 R6. Were there any problem areas with these bikes?

I actually suggested the B1H to my mate as well but the problem is that his budget is £2000 and B1H's seem to start at around the £2500 mark. He doesn't like the Ninjas that came before the B1H.

Should he be considering the K1/K2 Gixxer 600 as well? How does it compare to the R6 and again any issues to look for?
