Only really started a week or two ago, doesnt seem to matter if its wet or dry. Any ideas on how to remedy this. No grinding, window travels fine, just sounds awful.

Thanks :)

Googled that, seems to be a misspelling of a film with John Travolta in it. Is this a DIY guide to fixing said problem ?

Its due to the rubbers drying out and talc or silicone spray are common things to try. Although it can be a bit messy after you apply them it should help with the noise.

I had this on an old nissan pulsar.
I just put a bit of oil down the runners using a small funnel every now and then.
Probably not the correct solution but it worked a treat for me.

Thanks for that, how do I gain access to the runners, this a door trim off job my the sounds of it. Already tried squirting WD40 inside where the glass drops down. Did nada :(

I would apply it above the rubbers and let the glass do the work. Its not going to fix it immediately though I think, but it might make it bearable.

Do I just spray the silicon stuff all over the window glass and run it up and down a few times ?
