Hi

What do people make of a 2004 mondeo 2.0l duratec LX trim ? its got 45k on it, 2 owners and full sergice history in black. What would ya say its worth. Fella wants to swap my 200sx s14a which has 83k on clock and year 2000 fsh good car. Am i being had ? The 200 is worth maybe £5200 over here.
Thanks

2004 LX is actually a good spec - aircon, cruise control, onboard computer and suchlike. Engine is decent as well - 145bhp.

Its a good car, drove it thee, has a new clutch too. Is it a worth while trade or could i get one myself for about 4k..Being a petrol bound to be a few about well down on price ? Also, he said 33mpg. Is that close to the mark ?

I get about 33mpg on my 53 plate 2.0 zetec, and as im going to work in the early hours of the morning and usually follow the racing line, careful driving might get you a fair bit more.

I think its well over priced looking at trader there. Plenty of TDCI for about 4k which i would say is worth more than a petrol #?

There is no way you are going to get a 45k mile 2004 TDCi for £4k!!!

Well there are a few there, yeh with more miles but nothing bad, Motorway miles on a good car mean nothing i the servicing is there.

Is 5k to much for a 2003 2.0l petrol 45k though ?
