Considering getting one of these, for fun weekend rides, a bit of motorway commuting (1h30m there on Monday and back on Friday type thing) and potentially the occasional track day.

Any owners want to pipe up with some comments? What are they like on longer journeys? I'm coming from a Bonneville, so I'm concerned about comfort.

Awesome bike, managed to borrow one for while through work (cough) never had any issues with one, 5ft9, 14 stone and could ride it for about 2.5hrs before needed a little stretch. The handling is sublime and the power deliver is there from the start all the way to redline one of the best bikes on the road imo but you dont see so many due to everyone wanting big 1000`s for some reason.

You will end up doing more track days.

I've heard the Daytona is pretty compact, but I'm 5'9" and 11 stone, so it sounds like that won't be a problem. I'm looking forward to testing one when the weather improves. My current desire to buy one is based on reviews and looks alone!

The Daytona will be fine for you at that height mate - It was a little small for me being 6ft1. Pegs are very high.. but i still managed a trip around Europe on it :)

Fantastic bike, best middle weight bike out there in my opinion.
