The beauty of all that torque is that it can pull taller gears and still take your face clean off it's mountings. Besides, if you're going from 0 to 186mph in 10 seconds you don't have time to go banging up through a 6 or 7 speed gearbox. Hell, you barely have time for a 4 speed if it comes down to it!

It gets to 186mph quicker then i even get to 60!

But damn i bet it sounds right nice whilst doing that run aswell.

I remember finding out about the Weineck Cobra a little while ago. I did, however, instantly notice that the figures didn't add up. They quote a torque figure of 1298 lb-ft @ 5600rpm. That torque at that rpm equals 1384 hp :confused:

For it to have a maximum horsepower of 1100, the maximum the torque could possibly be at 5600rpm is 1032 lb-ft, and declining from there on in.

Nah you know that Punto is no match for a 306 DTurbo with screw mod!
