There's currently a forums wide thread (aka a GD exclusive thread) over here but as Consoles is seen as the black sheep of the OcUK family I started another one just for us .

This is to be seen as good fun, no offence should be taken at any of the answers, nor should any offence be given as one of the answers. Once most of the nominations are down there will be a final vote. It's just a bit of fun, please treat it like that. If you want to **** me, this is your chance without me biting .

All two of them? 40gb and 60gb? The 360 has had about 5!

(Am I allowed to question someone's opinion without people jumping down my throat?)

I think he's on about 4 Playstation3 models in comparison to the 3 Xbox360 models.

Whilst the names have changed, the models haven't.

Didn't know that, but it's not intrinsic to the console either. If they [Sony] released another 40gb unit with a DualShock 3 I wouldn't class that as another unit so I don't see the Arcade as different because the console is the same.
Also, the Core was just under 2 years old before it was replaced by the Arcade, the PS3 has been out just over a year and has 4.

It's not just UK based though. It's business decision, so he could comment on it being a bad decision despite not being a part of it.
Yahoo not buying Google for a couple of million was a bad business decision even though I wasn't directly involved with it and it being 2 American companies I can comment on it. I guess he's doing the same.

Whilst I don't agree with his point, I think Sony needed to drop the price and the 20gb and 80gb are options for users (you're not forced into it), removing the 60gb and forcing the 40gb with a lack of backwards compatibility is.

Right, I'll leave this for one more night (tonight) and get on this tomorrow. I think 2 weeks is long enough, though I was hoping for most posts. Some people are obviously too afraid to give opinions .
