Hi

I am a part time web designer so i work a lot with colours and image editing i've been looking to buy a new monitor.

I was going to buy the E207WFP 20" however after reading some reviews reviewers mention a lot of issues with Image Quality, so am debaiting if instead i should go for the Ultrasharp version of this monitor '2007WFP'.

What are your thoughts ? Is ultrasharp much better? Is the E207WFP really that bad for image quality?

Regards,
Thomas.

Never used the E207WFP, but it is TN+Film so you get an 18-bit + dithering colour panel rather than the 24-bit colour S-IPS panel in the 2007WFP. The 2007WFP also has much better viewing angles. Vertical viewing angles on TN+Film are so compromised that the same colour will appear a noticeably different shade at the top and bottom of the screen and colours will shift noticeably just from moving your head up/down an inch or two. From my previous experiences I've also found S-IPS to offer a sharper image than TN+Film.

I'm a full time web developer so I do a fair bit of work in Photoshop as well.
I have a 2007WFP and our main designer has one of those 30" apple screens. We send files back and forth between us and have never had any color problems.

Overall, I'm quite happy with it. If anything though, I wish I had gone bigger.
