It's almost like they've been reading my posts on here

Pity the stand doesn't look as nice, but I'm not too bothered by that. I'm just dreading finding out that the only panels to come with the new version aren't S-IPS.

Seems like it may be a mistake with the website and is the new 2707wfp rather than a redesigned 20-incher. We'll have to wait for official news I guess, it would certainly make more sense.

Look at the mount plate, and look at the size difference of the panel. It looks a fair bit bigger than a 20" redesign!

I would have loved component input though for hardcore Wii-ing !

the 20" is becoming more and more "budget" I cant see how Dell could suddenly afford to put luxuries on one of these models like Componant and a card reader - personally think its the 2707 also, but hopefully Im wrong

£350 is not budget

Most 20" can be had for around 250 or under. The only ones on ocuk that are over the 300 mark are the Dell and the NEC.

So in general, the 20" are definately becoming more budget.

It's almost definitely the 2707wfp, they still haven't taken it off the 2007wfp product page for the US though. I imagine there might be a few annoyed people finding their monitor isn't quite what they expected when it arrives.

Well I would have liked it. I'd take being able to play the Wii with decent video quality over a nicer looking exterior, but that's just me.

Like I said though, it's not a redesign - the site just made a mistake.

yeah but they're nowhere near the aimed consumer market of those "Budget" priced ones though.

Looks good to me. Not a fan of the stand, but thats not really a problem, mine is always borrowed, as for the garish look of the back of the monitor..... thats just a non-starter as a complaint!

Will be interesting to see how this gets priced
