2007WFP tearing

Just got a 2007WFP a couple of days hooked up to a HD2900XT. Just a few things.

I know the grainyness is just the way the panel is, slightly annoying at times but nothing big.

The one thing that is annoying me is picture tearing. It's really bad in Oblivion even with vsync on. I've noticed it in Team Fortress 2 as well but not as bad. Anyway to improve it, or do I just have to live with it, even with vysnc on?

I'm starting to wonder what the fuss is about S-IPS, the glittery backround is rather offputting at times, not during games though.

There should be no tearing with v-sync on, ever, full stop. Check you don't have a v-sync setting in your video card drivers which is over-riding the in-game setting or something like that.

I get zero tearing in Oblivion on my 2007WFP.
