If you're interested in seeing what the tracks look like I've updated my Google Earth links and flyovers. Unfortunately it's still not perfect, although Fuji is now high res thanks to the April update but the imagery for Valencia is a fair age so the purpose built bridge isn't visible. To play the flyovers select the flyover folder and press the play button at the bottom of the Places pane.

Funnily enough, Bernie isn't running a charity.
I understand that, what I fail to understand is how a track is meant to host a GP when the sole income they have is gate money. Bernie takes all the TV money, all the trackside advertising money and the race title sponsorship.

Does anyone else find that the live timing turns Vista Aero off? It worked ok when I was running 32bit but now with 64bit it disables aero.
Mine was fine (Vista64) until I reinstalled a couple of weeks back. I think it's the latest version of Java that's messing things up.

rather go Goodwood at that cost...
I did and haven't been back to the GP. First year at the FoS I got the three days tickets and the hotel for less than the grandstand seats at the GP.

How else are they going to pay off the £100m loan/investors?
Debentures are being talked about - pay a grand now and have the right to buy a ticket (at pretty much face value) for the next x years.

From what I understand its zero aero parts between 2 certain points of the car. (Front to rear)
Yup, I think it's nothing between the two axle lines.

On a side note the Hockenheim thread might be a bit late in appearing because I'm off to Goodwood this weekend :D
