well it looks like the graphics module on my imac has gone
boots to white screen of death and there is noticable vertical banding
boot to safe mode and get corrupted screen, also getting massively hotter then it ever did previously
no idea what to do as I dont know if now I can justify a massively expensive direct replacement
I still have a macbook pro and my time machine backups so have not lost anything
bit of a dilemma
