2009 Lions Tour

should pick up a bit at the weekend after the first *real* clash against S.A. I'm looking forward to it, although its hardly safe hitting the pub at 2pm (or earlier) on a Saturday. I think the Lions will take it, but I expect a battle.
 
What a terrible performance by the Lions! One score H1, and 2 late in H2?????

I think it was very lucky they managed to come back at all - the fact that it was in the last 10 mins(-ish) showed the boks taking it off the pedal and the Lads having some good fortune.

Coulda bin a 26-7 scoreline for Act I easily.

How to come back from that? Tough one. Has McGeechan had too many years with no results in charge? Looks very much like it to me - I mean we have the players!!!
 
Well done both sides, I think. I hoped for better for the Lions this weekend, and it really looked like it. Well done to the Boks for pulling it back in at the last minute.

Last match now could be nice, but sorry for the lads who deserved a triumph a few years now.

This match really showed the best (and sometimes the worst - very cantankerous at times) of both sides - coming down to the last minute, what a game!

Last match won't matter to a great number of people, but we'll be watching and I'm sure both sides'll do their best.
