200mm for haf x

Ok my haf x is about 7 months old and the top far is starting to go. I am not surprised after finding out the idiots at CM use sleeve bearing fans for the the case. (sleeve bearing fans dont like to be mounted horizontally since the oil/grease sits at the bottom, so looking for a rifle bearing or ball bearing replacement)

Antec big boys are no go as would need to do some drilling/modding on them to get them to fit (i dont have the tools or want to have to mod).

Leaves me with rifle bearing or ball bearing replacements. Any recommendations?

What are the corsair 200mm? If its to your needs I have one going spare.

The bitfenix fans should fit, both 200 and 230mm ones.

corsair 200mm is sleeve bearing

Bitfenix are Fluid Dynamic Bearings (FDB) I have no idea what this is never heard of it before. But I think this is the same system used in hard Drives can anyone conferm and would be ok for them to be used as top mounted fan?

Gone with Bitfenix hopefully will fit.

It should fit, when I was looking at 200mm replacements the Bitfenix 200 and 230mm, corsair and CM fans all had the same hole spacing, which was ~54mm.

from what i've read, fluid dynamic bearings are pretty good! There are a few rave reviews of them.

Waiting for Bitfenix red 200mm (had to get from alternative seller cheaper + OCUK stock poor colour range). Will report back once arrived and installed.

Ok it fits but had to use dif screwes the ones that come with it are to big for the haf x case. I have had to use the ones in below pic.

Sorry for low pic quality my phone cam is tripe.

The above screws are left over from an old fan.

Glow is not that great but seems to do the job and very quiet. Does not push as much air as the coolermaster fan but for exhaust far should be good enough.
