I am looking to buy a MK7 Ford Fiesta (probably the 2010/2011 Edge model), which I understand doesn't support DAB by default.

However, does the factory rooftop antenna support DAB? What I am looking to do is to replace the factory stereo with an aftermarket head unit from Pioneer with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. It also supports DAB, so it would be useful to have this feature.

If the aerial/antenna doesn't support DAB, how hard is it to replace with one that does? I have had bad experiences with the windscreen stick-on ones in the past so I'd like to avoid those if possible.

Thanks! :)

The Edge is bottom spec, not even alloys, i would be looking for a better spec Fiesta before spending more money on DAB, could always just stream DAB off your phone via bluetooth to the stereo any way on a higher spec Fiesta.

The Edge does have alloys?

Fifteen-inch alloy wheels are standard with Edge trim, and they add an extra touch of sharpness to the Fiesta's acclaimed handling and looks. There's also manual air conditioning that's not even an option lower down the range, while quilted upholstery and silver trim highlights brighten up the interior.
