Well we've had these threads before, and it looks like it's gonna be a stonking weekend of sun so how about we post up everything BBQ related in here?

Let's see you bbq's (acidhell I'm looking at you!), recipes and creations. Try and keep it original rather than reposting what you did last year:)

GO!

(no pics from me yet, but a couple of bbqs lines up over the weekend so i'll chuck some in!)

Ok, a couple of pics of our bbq/fire pit!

Sorry about our wasteland garden. Student house etc etc...

Made this last year for about a tenner! It works great and fits one of the grill pans from the oven.

I made the bench last week, I know, there's definitely a career in carpentry for me. Just gotta chop up the rest of the palettes for the fire pit... :D

And then some of the meat turned up for Sunday, more ribs should be arriving tomorrow.

Oh god I'm jealous!

How many of those beef ribs do you get for your money? Just had a look on their website and they look pretty awesome, fairly cheap/kg too. Would like to try them:)

Photos please when you're done!

I'm moving into a house this July which has a patio in the garden! So I hope to do many bbqs!
Where do you get the stone/bricks from for a DIY bbq? Cost is priority being a student lol. And at the end of the year when we move out... where do we dispose of them? Lol.
And once it's setup, you don't have to do anything to 'maintain' it do you? Just once the bbq is over, clear the charcoal/ash and it's fine to leave it alone for the next bbq?

Pop down to B&Q and get a patio slab and some bricks:D We just put the oven tray on when having a BBQ, or leave it off as a fire pit. Works really well.

That looks pretty awesome! How long were they cooked for?

Who do you entertain with your BBQ's AH?! I hope they return the favour!

What woods that in the coals by the way?

also...

I take it the beef ribs lend themselves to slow cooking. Our BBQ doesn't have a lid, it's just a fire pit! I guess the best thing to do would be to slow cook them in the oven and finish on BBQ?
