I put out the new Txl32e30 yesterday, and its a stunning looking telly, really good sound comes from it as well, and the Pq is quite good, Viera connect tho is still poor, no Iplayer on it which seems really pointless as all the other Manufatures can do it.

You will always find the media connectivity with panasonic really does suck.

Great panels, sucky for running files on them, they still use fat32 which narked a lot of folks, means you cant run files larger than 4gb as i've discovered.

Im going to one of their roadshows in a couple weeks so will ask again why they cant put Iplayer on Viera connect.

Whats even more funny, is they have not re labled the button, so it still says Viera cast

Well do us a favour and give em hell for sucking like this, everyone else is light years ahead of them.

If it wasn't for them being quality gear id have looked elsewhere by now, they had better be careful or they'll start hurting sales.

Panasonic must have heard me, as an update come through on the E30 this morning, and now viera cast has iplayer, and also the viera market works, its still slow tho.

As much as it's annoying when a manufacturer leaves features out, or doesn't have things like that working quite well, end of the day the main thing I'm interested in with a TV is what is the picture like.

Everything else can be changed/improved upon by having extra boxes for things, the panel however you are stuck with.

I know it's not great having to buy extra things, there's the cost and also extra boxes, but I'd rather do that than suffer an inferior picture just so I can stream a certain file type :)

It's nice to see mkv playback has been added to all the new sets - am tempted to get one later on in the year as that would be very useful.

Even the basic 32" LED LCD has the mkv playback feature :)

you could always use multiavchd its a prog that converts most file to play back in avchd which the pan tellys accept.

Wife is only letting me spend £1500. Might have to wait and see what prices do.

to start with it'll have package deals, so money of a surround system or blu-ray player.
Will there be a 46" G30? I was looking at the 46" G20...

No no 46G30
