too early to tell, no reviews yet.

Agreed but the new Samsung D8000 seems to be getting rave reviews. Nice looking tv.

The ST30 seems to be getting good reviews in the US which hopefully can only mean better G and V series.

first GT30 review is up.

"All in all GT30 is a fantastic 3D TV and I believe that the performance is almost identical to last year’s high-end VT25 / VT20 model"

Sounds very promising indeed...

The 50" G20 can be had for £650 now, lets hope the GT30 is a winner!

The Gt30 is basically an vt20 in a new case, it looks fantastic, tbh I prefer it over the vt30.

Also Panasonic are only including freesat in the two top models this year, all the rest will have freeview HD, the 3D telltale have a dedicated 3D button for easier switching from 2Dto3D, the 3D players also do 2Dto3D upscaling, which works much better than the telly doing the same job.

Panasonic are also doing some I apps kinda like Samsung did, so remote control apps, and also dlna apps, it works quite well to, hopefully android will get the same later on.

Power consumption is also impressive on the led range, the 42e30 set to dynamic was using around 86watts, set to normal it was using 46w with a bit of tinkering it probably would go lower.

All the home cinema systems are 3D this year, with only one model of 2D bluray player, Panasonic have definitely improved from last year, plasmas which are only a inch thick, less that use less power than your average light bulb, and they look very nice.

I just bought the P50VT20 for £1650. Love the TV and the picture quality!
No keen about paying £2300 for a new model :/

I'm deparate to get a new TV - I'm looking at the TX-P42G30 but I cant find any reviews on it.

I really hope the buzzing has been sorted as this was the only thing stopping me buying the G20.

the buzzing was a bit hit an miss tbh, and in most cases the only time its noticable is on very quiet volume.

the one thing that would stop me getting a g30 is no freesat, although not a massive seller, a lot of people do want it.
