2012... Will the world will end!

I've read and heard so much about sum guy who said the world will end 2012 bla bla, heck i can even remember my best mates mum telling me about the world ending in 2012 when i was like 14...

Is it the same guy that predicted "2 great giants would fall (twin towers)" (Nostradamus)?

So whats the deal? is it supposed to be our judgement day or what?

Personally i dont believe in any of that mumbo jumbo, in the 1000's of years we've been around nobody has ever had "special powers" to see in to the future.... So why do so many people seem to believe it?

Personally tho if the world were to end in 2012 i recon it will be Yellowstones volcano erupting, Dam that thing freaks me out!

I think its a win/win .... on the one side if its true then prehaps there is something after death and that there is meaning to our existence and that life has always had a definitive start and end date... However on the other side if its doesn't come true.... Great... more time to level another World of Warcraft alt!

Way to much for a Friday afternoon but meh.... Any one got any thoughts?

2012, world wont end. Excuses will be made for Mayan calendar, new "coming soon" date for world end will be announced.

True... I promise you i am in no way a believer that it will end in 2012 but it intrigues me how newspapers seem to do double spread pages on ways the world will end haha!

But at the same time to me its interesting because if something did happen in 2012 that caused the world to end would likely mean that there is something beyond this life if you get me.... because in my mind Religion is nothing more than the tale of santa claws gone to far... But like everything in life i'd love to know the truth!
